Noah Galloway gave the performance of the season last night with his contemporary number depicting the moment he came out of anesthesia and learned two of his limbs were missing.
“It’s gonna be powerful. Because it’s real,” he said tearfully to the camera during rehearsal.
And powerful it was.
“Your journey has been the hardest and the longest,” said judge Len Goodman. “And as we reach journey’s end I’ve got to say, that was amazing.”
Galloway received a perfect score from the judges. But more importantly, he sent a strong message to people everywhere: it doesn’t matter your circumstances, it’s possible to rise above.
